Book direct with your Maasai guide — not a middleman.
I'm Jackson Karia, founder of Oloishuro Tours and a Maasai driver-guide born and raised at the edge of the Maasai Mara. I don't work for a hotel or an agency. When you book with me, you get the guide you spoke to on WhatsApp — no surprise substitutions, no marked-up pricing.
The day belongs to you. Where we go, how long we stay at a sighting, when we stop for lunch. I know the plains, the rivers and the animals' habits — so I can put you in the right place at the right time for lion, leopard, cheetah, elephant, and the wildebeest crossings in season.

July – October 2026
Witness the Great Migration river crossings
Over 1.5 million wildebeest and zebra thunder across the crocodile-lined Mara River in one of the greatest wildlife spectacles on earth. I position at Purungat, Lookout and Serena crossings early and wait patiently — so you have the best chance of seeing it happen live.
Plan a Migration SafariAbout the Maasai Mara
The Maasai Mara — Africa's most rewarding safari destination
The Maasai Mara National Reserveis a 1,510 km² savanna wilderness in southwestern Kenya's Narok County, contiguous with Tanzania's Serengeti National Park. Together the two form the Serengeti–Mara ecosystem, home to Africa's densest population of big cats and the annual Great Wildebeest Migration — a UNESCO-listed natural wonder in which more than 1.5 million wildebeest, 400,000 gazelle and 200,000 zebra move seasonally between the two reserves.
A private Maasai Mara safari with Oloishuro Tours puts you in the middle of it. We drive open-roof 4x4 Toyota Land Cruisers custom-built for photography, cover the main reserve and the Mara Triangle, and — with an experienced local Maasai guide reading the tracks and the alarm calls — reliably deliver Big Five sightings (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, black rhino) alongside cheetah, hippo, crocodile, Maasai giraffe, topi and hundreds of bird species.
You can visit year-round: peak wildlife density and the river crossings run July to October, the green season (November–March) brings newborns and dramatic skies, and April–May are the quietest and most affordable months. Whether you have one day or a full week, we build the itinerary around you — from a Nairobi road transfer to a fly-in from Wilson Airport.
